The Uplife Kit brings together eight elements to support your practice — from the fundamental gesture to the complementary tools inherited from traditional Chinese medicine.

Each piece has its place: the pump to start the gesture, the magnets for the magnetic sensation, the gua sha to extend the session with manual work. Everything is there to practise at your own pace, from the first try to the established habit.

In 2019, a trip to China and a meeting with Jess introduce Benoît to a Chinese practice she had known all her childhood — Chinese cupping. Back in France, they realise this gesture also belongs to our own tradition, almost forgotten. Uplife was born from this twofold realisation: to make accessible a ritual that crosses the ages.

How-to

The ritual, in four steps.

Fifteen minutes per session. Once learned, the gesture becomes intuitive.

Prepare

Work on clean skin. A drop of vegetable oil if you want to glide the cup.

Choose

The size suited to the area, and the curved shape for shoulders or lower back.

Suction

Connect the pump to the valve, pump 1 to 3 times depending on the area and your tolerance.

Let it work

5 to 15 minutes depending on the area. To remove, gently pull the valve.

What exactly does the Uplife Kit contain?
The kit includes 12 polycarbonate cups of medical quality (six diameters including one ø77 mm cup for very large areas, four with curved rims in two diameters — ø53 and ø42 mm — for joint areas), a suction pump, ergonomic, six insertable magnets, a genuine wooden gua sha, an extension tube, a storage bag and a multilingual manual — all presented in a bamboo case designed to find its place on the shelf.
What are the magnets for?
The six magnets insert inside the cups to add a magnetic sensation to the suction gesture on the most strained areas. It's an optional complement: you can use them on a few cups or remove them for a session without magnets.
How do I use the wooden gua sha?
The gua sha is a massage tool from the Chinese tradition. After your cupping session (or independently), apply a few drops of vegetable oil to the area, then gently glide the tool along the muscle. Slow, firm movements. Genuine wood makes the sensation softer than a jade or quartz version.
How many times a week can I use the cups?
2 to 3 sessions a week is a good rhythm. You can also practise more occasionally, depending on your needs. Space sessions at least 48 hours apart on the same area to let the skin and capillaries recover.
Are there any contraindications?
Yes: pregnancy (on certain areas, with medical advice), coagulation disorders, anticoagulant treatments, open wounds, damaged skin or skin inflammation, severe capillary fragility, just after surgery. If in doubt or with a chronic condition, consult your doctor before use.
Are the marks on the skin normal?
Yes, round pink or purplish marks may appear after a session. They are painless and usually fade within 3 to 7 days, like a passing bruise. They correspond to a local blood flow caused by the cup's suction.
